Who this policy covers
This policy applies to the Selli Android money and small-business organizer, package com.selli.workspace. For privacy questions, contact the Selli developer at festoautomate@gmail.com.
Information handled by Selli
Your workspace may contain business and owner names, an optional business phone number and tagline; customer names, email addresses, phone numbers and notes; products, stock, orders and payment records; personal and business income, expenses, balances, budgets and goals; payment plans, reminder titles and dates; and saved growth-tool progress.
Selli stores this information locally to provide the organizer, calculations, reminders, invoices, exports and backups you request. It does not request bank credentials, card numbers, device contacts, precise location, camera, microphone or messages.
Google account and cloud sync
Google and Firebase Authentication process account information such as your Google display name, email address, profile photo, a provider identifier and a Selli Firebase user ID. Authentication also processes technical service data such as IP address, app identifier, device platform, operating-system/app/SDK versions and user-agent information for sign-in security, abuse prevention and service operation.
After successful sign-in, Selli creates a new account workspace or opens the existing cloud workspace for that account. Completed saves and reconnects can transmit that workspace to Cloud Firestore under your Firebase user ID. An older separate device workspace is preserved and is never silently attached to the account or uploaded. Firestore requests include the user ID so Security Rules can restrict the workspace to the signed-in account.
Google and Firebase act as service providers for authentication and sync. Connections are encrypted in transit. Selli does not claim end-to-end encryption because the service must process cloud data to provide sync. What Selli does not do
- No advertising, advertising identifier, behavioral tracking or analytics SDK.
- No sale of personal information and no use of workspace contents for marketing.
- No bank connection, money transfer, payment processing, lending, trading, insurance or personalized investment/tax advice.
- No cloud image recognition, OCR, server AI, Cloud Storage or automated messaging.
Files, reminders and outside services
When you export or share a JSON backup, CSV, PDF invoice, image or text, Selli creates the item locally and opens the Android destination you choose. Those copies may contain financial and customer information and then follow the recipient or destination's privacy rules. Delete exported copies separately.
Optional Android reminder alerts use notification permission and may display the reminder title on the lock screen according to device settings. Selli does not read the Android calendar. Support and educational links open outside services. If you email support, Gmail processes your address and message so the developer can answer the request. Do not send passwords, one-time codes or complete customer/financial backups.
Retention, security and deletion
Local records remain until you edit them, reset a workspace, erase a retained account copy, clear Selli storage or uninstall the app. Android automatic app backup and device transfer are disabled. Cloud workspace content remains while the linked Selli account exists, unless you replace or delete it through the app.
Account deletion removes the Firebase Authentication account and cloud workspace content. For the security purpose of stopping an older signed-in device from restoring deleted data, Selli retains a minimal online deletion marker containing the Firebase user ID, a deleted status and creation time. It contains no workspace contents. You can ask support to remove this marker after old credentials expire. Device-local recovery copies and files exported elsewhere are under your control and require separate deletion.
Use the in-app deletion control under Settings → Google account & sync, or use the public account and data deletion page if you no longer have the app.
Children and changes
Selli is intended for adults organizing personal money or a small business and is not designed for children. This policy will be updated before materially different data collection or use is introduced. The effective date above identifies the current version.
